i love life

i laugh a lot. life is a constant adventure

born in taiwan, raised in NYC, finessed around the world (lived in 7 countries…and counting)

i’ve wanted to be a doctor for as long as i can remember, specifically, in neurology, because i was fascinated with the mind and had a strong drive to serve humanity since childhood. in elementary school, i used to save my lunch money to buy medical books

i grew up painting and sculpting, blessed to have this passion nurtured and have held multiple exhibitions since i was 9. while in high school, one of my paintings was chosen for an exhibition in association with the Museum of Modern Art. today, art deeply infuses all aspects of my life, whether it's hand-sculpted jewelry (CEO/founder/designer of ILLUMIN DESIGNS), photography, sculptures or large-scale metal art/architecture at Burning Man

like yin and yang, martial arts balanced the pursuit of my fine art. i trained intensively in tae kwon do throughout my teenage years, and along the way, won 8 gold medals as a competitive athlete. i added fencing and archery to my meditative repertoire...”be a lover and a fighter”

while pursuing the medical path in high school, i was accepted into an intensive acting program at UCLA at 17. this seed proved to be a life-changing force, both career-wise and how i approach life itself today, i try to live my life to the fullest. an explorer, inward and outward, relishing every step of the journey. grateful for all that brought me here, dedicated to brightening the path for others

empower. inspire. rise together.
