Angel Pai is an actress, TV host, artist, jewelry designer, entrepreneur, model, and public speaker. Angel has channeled her humanitarian drive through all aspects of her life, including media works such as her current NYC VIBE segments on PBS All Arts- where she specializes in events coverage of humanitarian efforts in the fields of art, fashion, and entertainment. At the beginning of the pandemic, Angel co-founded Keep Breathing, Inc., a nonprofit created in evolving response to provide COVID-19 relief. This fully volunteer-based organization provided open-source designs, as well as manufactured and donated 3D-printed ventilator splitters, intubation boxes, ear savers, and PAPR(powered air-purifying respirator) for the medical staff on the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic. Angel studied medicine starting at a young age and was heart-set on becoming a neurosurgeon when she first “stumbled'“ upon a film crew shooting on location in Taiwan- and was subsequently written into the film, featured, and premiered at various film festivals throughout Europe. This marked the humble beginning of her professional media career. As a fashion model represented by agencies in seven countries, her diverse body of work spans across campaigns, runway shows, and commercials worldwide, including publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Maxim, GQ, Self, Shape, Women's Health, and Fitness. After returning to the States, she was discovered for her dynamic personality after walking in a runway show and was offered a job on the spot to host for In The Mix, interviewing celebrities on the red carpet. She moved on to host segments for MTV IGGY, NYCTV, and PBS All Arts. In the summer of 2009, Angel placed in the top four of the Miss Asia pageant and earned the Miss Fitness crown as well as a top-five title in the talent portion for her dance performance.

Angel was a competitive martial artist in tae kwon do throughout her teenage years and has since won eight gold medals in national championships in both the forms category as well as sparring. She also trained in fencing and archery. As a fine artist, she began exhibiting oil paintings at age nine, having won numerous art awards.  While attending the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in New York City, she was chosen to exhibit in a young artist show in association with the Museum of Modern Art.

Merging her science, fine arts, and humanitarian drive, Angel ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. As founder and creator of her jewelry brand, ILLUMIN DESIGNS, Angel sculpts and hand-makes each piece of her jeweled art. ILLUMIN DESIGNS was born out of her deep resonance with ‘the perfection of imperfection’- the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfect, the concept of kintsugi on healing and rebirth, and her passion to help illuminate another's journey. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted, created with intention while in a state of deep mediation- inspired by nature, her travels, and her trials and tribulations. Illumin Designs works with various UNSDG foundations to promote sustainability and women empowerment.

Angel recognizes the immense power of storytelling through media with its worldwide reach; she dedicates herself to using her platform to elevate, inspire, and empower others. She is an official STEAM Ambassador for the Aspire Artemis Foundation, promoting cultural exchange, language learning, and holistic educational training opportunities to young ladies and women in vulnerable and marginalized communities across the globe. Angel is also an Education and Youth Empowerment Ambassador for The Dais, India, and works closely with the There Is No Limit Foundation to end gender-based violence. She has been a keynote speaker and panelist for various UNSDG foundations around the world.

Currently, Angel is developing film/TV programming dedicated to empowerment and spotlighting inspirational stories of humanitarian accomplishments. Angel speaks four languages and has lived in seven countries.
